At last, I have found it!!! A diner with food that tastes like the 1970s when food tasted great! Hamburger with a seeded bun (no crappy brioche bun) and the taste of charbroil! Literally, I tasted Rustler Steakhouse biting into it! A chocolate milkshake made with real Breyers ice cream! And finally...STEAK FRIES!!!!!!! I saw the pics of the fries on Google Maps and I had to see if it was true? It was! This is Heaven for anyone, like me, that used to go to diners for great burgers, fries and a milkshake!

Delicious, fresh food, great portion size- you won't leave hungry professional wait staff. Chef Niko is very talented each of his meal is absolutely delicious. We always come back here. Definitely best diner in NJ. We love it!

A classic old style diner with excellent wait staff, great food and a pleasant family friendly atmosphere....The Greek yogurt parfait was awesome by the way!! Our waitress Megan was outstanding. She went above and beyond and even recited two or three of her favorite dishes on the huge menu. She had tremendous personality and charisma and just made everyone feel comfortable and well served. This was our second day in a row eating in at Galloway's. On day 1 we were served by the lovely Janelle (sp?) who also was delightful, shared some stories about her family and was extremely warm and accommodating. These are the kinds of experiences you long for nowadays in a country where customer service is slowly fading by the wayside. Thank you Galloway's for being neat, clean, tasty and fun! Our large family from Maryland enjoyed our time there and will be back!
